the distance between us is but a consequence of what has transpired. sure, it is most taxing. but it will pass. just don't expect it soon.

i'm not making such a big deal out of it, trust me. i'm just being civilized. i don't like feigning fake friendships. and since i have been offended (just like you), i won't be so keen as i used to be.

this is the price we all had to pay for not using our better judgement. sadly, not all wounds can be healed. not all things can be returned to the way they were. and that's just the way it goes.

... but i'd give just about anything to bring it all back.

if only that was virtually possible.
